Las Ramblas from Barcelona Cruise Port
The famous promenade starts right where the port shuttle drops you off.
Distance
Columbus Monument is at the foot of Las Ramblas
Travel time
10–15 minutes via the Port Cruise Bus
Time needed
Allow 1.5–3 hours
Las Ramblas is arguably the most convenient landmark to reach from the Barcelona cruise port: the Port Cruise Bus terminates at the Columbus Monument, which stands at the bottom of the promenade itself.
From the Adossat terminals, the Port Cruise Bus runs to the Columbus Monument at the harbour end of Las Ramblas — so you step off the shuttle at the start of the boulevard. From the World Trade Center terminals it's a short walk or taxi.
From there you can stroll the tree-lined promenade up towards Plaça de Catalunya, ducking into La Boqueria market and the Gothic Quarter along the way. It's flat, lively and requires no further transport.
Keep an eye on your belongings — Las Ramblas is busy and popular with pickpockets — but as an easy, no-planning introduction to the city on a port day, it's hard to beat.
